West Coast Fever will face a Mens side made up of athletes from across Australia, in Kalgoorlie this weekend for their second pre-season match of 2021 in replacement of Sunshine Coast Lightning.
The Club has sourced a range of talent across the country to form a never-before-seen team to put Fever to the test.
The Away Team consists of four WA, three NSW and two SA representatives and will be led by the WA Mens Head Coach, Lorraine Ward.
West Coast Fever Head Coach, Stacey Marinkovich said pre-season games are crucial in the lead up to the season.
“Pre-season games allow us to test out what we’ve been working on in the training environment and see how it translates in a high-performance environment,” said Marinkovich.
“They are great opportunities to tweak our game plan ahead of the season to make sure we hit the ground running come Round 1.”
“We’ve put together a great opposing team with excellent talent that will really challenge Fever and push us to new heights.”
West Coast Fever are playing two pre-season games this weekend on Saturday at 5.00pm and Sunday at 11.00am at the Oasis Goldfields Recreation Centre thanks to our Premier Partner the Gold Industry Group, the Department of Local Government Sport and Cultural Industries and the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
