Jess Anstiss and Sasha Glasgow will both miss West Coast Fever’s Round 6 game against GIANTS at Ken Rosewall Arena in Sydney after being ruled out under Covid-19 health and safety protocols.
They have been replaced for the game by Zoe Cransberg and Chelsea Pitman from Fever’s extended squad.
Cransberg is a versatile mid-courter who demonstrated her ability at the pre-season Team Girls Cup and was elevated as a temporary replacement for Alice Teague-Neeld in Round 2.
She is a former Victorian Fury state team member and will make her West Coast Fever and Suncorp Super Netball debut if she takes the court during today’s game.
Pitman played for Fever in Round 3 when Teague-Neeld remained unavailable against the Queensland Firebirds, entering the game in the second half at Wing Attack to make a solid contribution with 12 assists from 18 feeds.
She has returned to West Coast Fever’s extended squad for the 2022 Suncorp Super Netball season after previously playing for the club in 2014.
Today’s game against GIANTS starts at 2pm (wst) and will be broadcast live from 1.35pm (wst) on Foxtel, Kayo and Kayo Freebies.
