Down by two goals with just over two minutes left in the game, the Linley Valley Pork Oinkers, coached by Stacey Francis, upped their defensive pressure and ultimately won the Grand Final in the last few seconds of the match with a score of 10 – 9.
It was a fierce competition, with Linley Valley Pork Oinkers and Broady’s Beverage Service facing off in the Grand Final, however the Oinkers proving too strong for Broady’s Beverage Service.
Supported by PKF, the Corporate Netball Challenge saw 20 teams from across Perth’s corporate community battle it out in a round-robin style to decide the title of WA’s best corporate netball team.
Teams were led and inspired by their appointed West Coast Fever coaches including Captain Courtney Bruce and Head Coach Stacey Marinkovich, as they went head to head to claim the title of 2020 Corporate Netball Challenge champions.
West Coast Fever Managing Director, Simon Taylor said the day was a wonderful opportunity to network with the corporate community in a relaxed setting.
“The Corporate Netball Challenge is a standout event in the corporate space. It presents a unique and fun opportunity to connect different businesses from across Perth with each other,” Taylor said.
