In 2024, Teague-Neeld was first introduced to the Diamonds’ environment when she was awarded invitee status and spent time training with the squad before their major tournaments.
The 29-year-old has earnt her maiden call-up following her sensational form in Suncorp Super Netball, including topping the League in both Goal Assists and Cente Pass Receives for the 2025 regular season.
Teague-Neeld brings 10 years of National League experience, alongside an SSN premiership with Fever to the Australian team.
Fever Head Coach Dan Ryan said Teague-Neeld is a completely unique Wing Attack in both SSN and around the world.
“She’s so good as an attacker but her defensive skills are also just elite,” Ryan said.
Teague-Neeld joins Fever teammate Sunday Aryang (34 caps) who has also been named in the Origin Diamonds squad.
The squad will come together for a five-day high-performance camp at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra in early September. A second preparation camp will follow from 19 September, leading into test matches against South Africa and the Constellation Cup in October.
