Despite the challenge, vice-captain Alice Teague-Neeld said the group is excited by what is ahead.
“I’m feeling really excited about the next block,” she said.
“We haven’t had too many weeks where we have all been together, so after Kadie-Ann is back from her Jamaican series the squad is complete, and I'm really keen to see that.”
With the Suncorp Super Netball season only a month away, these pre-season matches will offer teams their first real opportunity to test out their new combinations against high quality opposition.
“We have lots of different combinations we want to try out for this next block once we’re all together,” Teague-Neeld said.
Fever will first fly to Melbourne to take on the Melbourne Mavericks, before road tripping to Ballarat for the Ballarat Blitz.
They will then return home to WA to take on the Adelaide Thunderbirds, with matches held in both Kalgoorlie and at the Perth High Performance Centre.
“I’m really eager to go to Ballarat because I've got ten family members coming over to watch, so anytime I get to go to Victoria I'm stoked,” she said.
“I do think I'm most keen to go up against the Thunderbirds though, they’re got a few different players and combinations.
“It’s especially exciting since we get to come back home and play in front of the Green Army at the High-Performance Centre.”
Don’t miss any of the action, tickets for the High-Performance Centre game are on sale now.
