West Coast Fever head into the 2020 Suncorp Super Netball season in style.
A new dress, developed in conjunction with leading Perth brand agency Marketforce, incorporates a striking gradient green and swirl design which symbolises the net of a netball goal.
For the first time, this season’s primary dress incorporates an indigenous design, created by Noongar artists Peter Farmer and Kylie Graham, which has featured within the annual West Coast Fever Indigenous Dress for the past six seasons.
The indigenous design includes two major design features; separate Aboriginal women’s symbols representing each member of the playing squad, patterned onto a series of significant waterholes in Whadjuk Country.
West Coast Fever Managing Director, Simon Taylor said this season’s dress works to further strengthen our connections with our communities.
“The inclusion of the swirl design, representing the net of a netball goal as well as the indigenous design highlights the connection between our grassroots netball participants and the indigenous community as part of our purpose to inspire and make you proud,” said Taylor.
The 2020 Suncorp Super Netball season will see West Coast Fever launch a new Indigenous dress, alongside several special-edition dresses.
The unveiling of the 2020 dress comes ahead of West Coast Fever flying east to take on the Sunshine Coast Lightning in their first competitive pre-season match today.
A range of affordable membership packages are available now to watch West Coast Fever take the court for all seven (7) games at RAC Arena, with general tickets going on sale from mid March.
