FX Fireballs have been crowned Perth’s premier corporate netball team, winning the 2019 Corporate Netball Challenge at the State Netball Centre this afternoon.
Supported by PKF, a record 24 teams from across Perth’s corporate community took part in the event, which has now cemented itself as one of Perth’s best networking and team-building opportunities.
It was an exciting day of competition, with Team All Sorts and FX Fireballs facing off in the Grand Final, however it was FX Fireballs who prevailed.
Teams were coached by current and former West Coast Fever athletes, with a number of competitions and prizes awarded.
West Coast Fever Managing Director, Simon Taylor said the day was a wonderful opportunity to network with the corporate community.
“The Corporate Netball Challenge is one of our flagship events in the corporate space and an event we look forward to hosting every year,” Taylor said.
“It is always great to see the competitiveness of the day on show, but at the same time, the day is a unique opportunity to connect different businesses from across Perth with each other.”
“We have long enjoyed a strong relationship with the corporate community of Western Australia, and I strongly encourage anyone interested in supporting our game either at the grassroots or the elite level to contact us.”
The State’s biggest female participation sport continues to flourish, now boasting more than 230,000 participants the length and breadth of the State, while West Coast Fever set a National League record for attendance at the 2018 Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final, with 13,722 people selling out RAC Arena.
