With the season now well and truly behind us, our athletes have been keeping themselves busy in plenty of ways! Check out what they have been up to.
The skipper has been plenty busy since the season ended, pretty much taking a tour of the country. Following the West Coast Fever Awards Night, Medhurst hit the sky to Melbourne for the Netball Australia Awards, before taking some time to relax in Queensland. She then headed back to her native South Australia, before enjoying the hospitalities of Rottnest Island. She’s also got a pretty keen eye behind a camera too!
Kaylia has spent her time honing her skills in the kitchen at the Perth Mundella Women’s Expo, and also took some time to enjoy the sights of Dunsborough.
Courtney has been also been busy, spending time in the State’s North West with the Shooting Stars program, before jetting off to Bali for some relaxation with Liz Ellis Diamond winner Gabi Simpson. Of course, Courtney has spent the past week at the Australian Institute of Sport with the Australian Diamonds!
Annie is currently enjoying the sights and sounds of the USA. Universal Studios, Disneyland, Santa Monica Pier, Las Vegas, Route 66, the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley and Warner Bros. Studios have all been on the list! Stay up to date with her travels on Instagram.
Stace has also been enjoying some time away from the court, checking out the sights of New Zealand and Fiji. The Fiji weather is certainly making us jealous too.
Snoop has had a big few months. Since the season ended she has spent time in WA’s North West with the Shooting Stars participants and also travelled home to her native Victoria. Oh, and did we mention she ran for the first time since having surgery to repair her ruptured ACL?
Little One has also spent time with Shooting Stars participants in Meekatharra. But of course, she spent some time in the South West visiting the picturesque Wilyabrup Cliffs.
Vez has taken some time to head back to New South Wales, visiting family and snapping some great photos along the way!
Jess has been one of the busiest bees since winning the 2017 MVP Award. She didn’t have much time before heading off to Botswana for the 21U World Youth Cup, but is now spending some much deserved down time in Europe.
