West Coast Fever Members and fans are again the biggest beneficiaries of the Club’s 2019 fixture, following its release this morning.
Fever games remain at family friendly times, with six Saturday night fixtures, while the Club is set to play all seven home games at RAC Arena, thanks to a renewed commitment from the City of Perth.
West Coast Fever Managing Director Simon Taylor encouraged the West Australian sporting community to again throw their support behind Fever.
“This fixture is truly fantastic for our Members and fans, and I know that the team is already excited about stepping out on the RAC Arena court for the Grand Final rematch in Round 2,” Taylor said.
“Our purpose is we inspire and make you proud, and we’re confident that this fixture is certainly one that our Members and fans will be looking forward to.”
“We averaged more than 8,000 people at our RAC Arena games last season, and that’s a wonderful reflection of the incredible support that the West Australian public has shown us, so we’re looking forward to growing that in 2019.”
Fever’s season will commence with a road trip to Adelaide to face the Thunderbirds at Priceline Stadium on Sunday, April 28, before returning home for their first home game of the season, which will be a Grand Final rematch against the Sunshine Coast Lightning on Sunday, May 5.
Fever will also take netball to the regions, when they travel to Bendigo to face Magpies Netball in Round 4, while the Club will once again host the Adelaide Thunderbirds in Indigenous Round in Round 8.
Following the World Cup break, Fever will host three of their final five games, with the Club to face the Swifts, Magpies and Firebirds at home, before travelling to Sydney to face the Giants in the final round of the season.
